JASPER — A lot of expectations come around Jasper’s tennis program, with the Wildcats being able to do successful things year in and year out. But successful teams and programs are hardly without their challenges, and Jasper boys tennis is no different.

The No. 15 Wildcats (14-5, 9-0) won the Southern Indiana Athletic Conference championship Tuesday at Vincennes Lincoln, and the team’s two seniors, Reece Lampert and Noah Schue, have played a large role in that due to their leadership and prior varsity experience — needing to fill the voids that some big pieces like the graduated Max Sternberg, Justin Shultz and Noah Hanneman left.
