SANTA CLAUS — Heritage Hills lost to Evansville North by 25 strokes in boys golf April 25.
The Huskies had a team scored of 147 with the Patriots finishing with 172. Nolan Raaf led Heritage Hills with a 40 while Braylon Caswell, Dakota Boerste and Daniel Guth all finished with a 44 to round out scoring.
Noah Rexing and Colt Caswell shot 53 and 62, respectively.
A week earlier, Heritage Hills beat Pike Central by 11 strokes behind Preston Coop’s 40. Raaf, Guth and Boerste all had 45 with Caswell and Rexing finishing with a 46 and 47.
SANTA CLAUS — Behind a 37 from Cade Schiff, South Spencer beat Forest Park by eight strokes to win in boys golf on April 24.
Schiff earned medalist honors and Zach Hamilton carded a 39 to aid in the winning effort. Briten Gee had a 42 while Isaac Wittman finished with a 44.
Last Wednesday, South Spencer finished second in a quadrangular match played at The Rustic.
The Rebels finished with 174, two strokes behind first-place Mater Dei. North Posey was third with 190 and Wood Memorial finished fourth with 218.
Schiff was the overall medalist with a match-best 39 and Gee added a 41. Andrew Boultinghouse and Wittman each had a 47 to round out team scoring.
PARADISE — Heritage Hills dropped a 5-0 match in girls tennis to Castle last Wednesday.
In No. 1 singles, Ciera Mardis beat Emma Zanibellato 6-1, 6-1 while Reagan Clay downed Kenley Bell 6-0, 6-0 in No. 2 singles. Jaila Cosley topped Ella Commens in No. 3 singles 6-0, 6-0.
Playing No. 1 doubles, Elle Blessinger and Emma Watson beat Miah Rahman and Becca Heeke 6-1, 6-1 while Arissa Hall and Taylor Ruxer fell to Claire Renschler and Nina Madal 6-0, 6-0 in No. 2 doubles.
The Patriots beat Pike Central 4-1 on April 25.
Zanibellato won her No. 1 singles match 6-2, 6-0 and Bell was victorious in No. 2 singles play, 6-0, 6-1. Commens won at No. 3 singles 6-2, 6-2.
Hall and Taylor earned a 6-1, 6-1 win in No. 2 doubles. The Patriots’ lone loss came in No. 1 doubles with Rahman and Heeke falling 6-4, 5-7, 12-10.
