SPENCER COUNTY — The Spencer County CASA Board of Directors would like to take this opportunity to thank retiring Board President, Kyle Knieriem. Kyle started out in February 2014 as a founding member of the Friends of Spencer County CASA, and was instrumental in helping CASA to become a non-profit organization, and forming a Board in 2016.
The Board members and employees want to express our sincere gratitude for Kyle’s service over the past 9 years. Board service is the toughest volunteer role, and Kyle took on Board duties with dedication, grace, and seriousness. More than his amazing ability to connect friends to Spencer County CASA and his willingness to support every fundraising effort we had, we are most grateful for his active leadership as a judicious steward of our organization. Kyle always carefully deliberated on matters before the board, even when the decisions were difficult. We know it was clearly a difficult decision for him to retire from the Board. President John Quincy Adams once said, “If your actions inspire others to dream more, learn more, do more and become more, you are a leader.” Kyle’s actions have inspired all of us, and he has been a great leader for the CASA program, and with his leadership we have achieved wonderful things. We are forever grateful for everything Kyle has done for the children of Spencer County.
