WASHINGTON — U.S. Representative Larry Bucshon, M.D. (R-Ind.-08) announced that his office is participating in the Valentines for Vets program, which is taking place during VA Patients Week.

Dr. Bucshon encourages preschool and elementary school students up to third grade who are interested in participating to write a valentine to a veteran and to mail their cards to either his Evansville or Terre Haute Office by February 9th to ensure delivery.

“Indiana is home to thousands of veterans whose tireless dedication to our country has helped keep our country safe. The annual Valentines for Vets program is one small way we can show appreciation for the brave service and sacrifice of those who served in our nation’s military. I encourage all young Hoosiers to participate in this program and show your appreciation for America’s veterans,” said Dr. Bucshon.
