TELL CITY — Scott D. Braunecker, 56, of Tell City passed away May 1, 2023, at his home.

Scott was born Sept. 12, 1966, in Tell City to the late Robert and Joanna (Krieg) Braunecker.

Scott was a 1985 graduate of Perry Central High School. He married Kelli Howell Nov. 18, 1985, and they shared 37 wonderful years together. Scott was employed at Waupaca Foundry for 28 years. He enjoyed IU basketball, Pittsburgh Steelers football, smoking and grilling foods, fishing, bowling, Pokemon Go, his dog Jack, and his pig, Jagger. Scott’s greatest enjoyment was time spent with his family, friends and his grandsons.

Surviving is his wife of 37 years, Kelli Braunecker; son, Jacob Braunecker (Brittany) of Evansville; daughter, Loren Braunecker-Roberts (Andrew) of Bedford; grandsons, Owen Braunecker of Evansville and Wesley Roberts of Bedford; siblings, Duane Braunecker (Kimberly) of Tell City, Darin Braunecker (Lena) of Tell City, Chad Braunecker (Michelle) of Sellersburg, Ind., Lee Ann Mullis (Eric) Of Georgetown, Ky.; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Scott was preceded in death by his sister, Bobbi Jo Braunecker.

Visitation was Saturday, May 6, at the funeral home.

Funeral services were Saturday, May 6, Zoercher-Gillick Funeral Home with Fr. Kolbe Wolniakowski officiating.
