This morning, while being bombarded with social media ideas for chocolate candy hearts and heart-shaped pizzas and roses and all the other common gestures of affection we demonstrate on Valentine’s Day, I’m thinking about real, true, undying love.

This morning I’m joining some of my favorite cousins at their mother’s funeral. It’s a home-going celebration for us. Aunt Joyce is back with her sweetheart, and in the arms of her Savior.
