JASPER — Michael David Croucher, 53 of Jasper, and formerly of Franklin, passed away Sept. 15, 2022, at Deaconess Gateway Hospital in Newburgh.
He was born Dec. 21, 1968, in Franklin, to Clyde Matthew Croucher and Ann (Boswell) Croucher. He was a graduate of East Wake High School in Wendell, North Carolina. Michael was a clerk for Goodwill in Jasper for several years. He enjoyed fishing, playing video games and especially telling stories.
Survivors include his siblings Susan Livingston (Timothy) of Portsmouth, OH, Clyde Matthew “Matt” Croucher (May) of Nineveh, IN and Melissa J. Croucher — Hoten (Julian) of Jasper, four nephews Jason Livingston (Stacy) of Portsmouth, OH, David Livingston (Jerri) of Portsmouth, OH, Kenneth Livingston (Kristin) of Portsmouth, OH and Brian Matthew Croucher (Katie) of Nineveh, IN, a niece Laura E. Hoton -Toby (Corey) of Bonaire, GA, and several great nieces, great nephews and cousins. His parents preceded him in death.
The Reverend Shan Rutherford will conduct a service on Thursday Sept. 22, 2022, at 2 p.m. at Swartz Family Community Mortuary and Memorial Center 300 U.S. 31 South (Morton Street) in Franklin, and will be live-streamed at www.swartzmortuary.com.
