PAOLI — Paoli hosted Perry Central softball Monday in a conference match and while Paoli scored first, Perry Central responded with seven runs in the third.
Paoli in their 7-2 loss scored their first run with a Jackie Crews RBI single. Their second run came in the bottom of the third. River Fleming hit an RBI single and as a team they finished with seven hits.
Perry Central’s scoring all came from one inning. MaKenna Labhart of the Commodores led the inning off with a solo home run.
Audra Harbaville after the home run hit a single with a double from Maggie Cunningham and a home run from Emily Parker. Perry Central went up 4-1.
After Parker’s home run, Kya Smith hit a RBI double. Lastly, Aubriegh Gogel and MaKenna Labhart hit RBI singles for Perry Central’s sixth and seventh runs.
Gogel pitched a complete game for the Commodores. She gave up two earned runs and struck out four Paoli hitters.
Ashleigh Garcia completed the full game for Paoli on the mound. She gave up seven earned runs, two walks, and did not strike out a Perry Central hitter.
