FLOYD KNOBS — Janet L. Staton, age 84 of Floyd Knobs, passed away on March 24, 2023 at Baptist Health Floyd Hospital. She was born on December 21, 1938 in Orleans to parents Clifford & Mary (Runyon) Ragsdale. Janet married Charles R. Staton in 1979. She was a homemaker.

She is survived by husband Charles Staton of Floyd Knobs, daughters Debra Nelson (Jim) of Statesville, N. C. & Valarie Clunie (Gary) of Floyd Knobs; son: Rick Keatley (Patti) of Cape Coral, FL and grandchildren: Shanna McGinnis (Scott) of N. C., Joseph Nelson of N. C., Justin Clunie of Greenville, IN, Sarah Gregory (Daniel) of Greenville, IN, & Raychel Keatley (Jeff Craig) of Plattsmouth, NE.

Janet was preceded in death by her parents Clifford & Mary Ragsdale-West, step father William West, brothers — Leroy Ragsdale, Larry Ragsdale, Stephen Ragsdale, and grandson — Dustin Keatley

The visitation for Janet L. Staton will be Sunday, April 2nd, 2023 from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. at McAdams Mortuary. The funeral will follow at 2 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be at Fairview Cemetery in Orleans. Bro. Harvey McAdams will officiate. For condolences visit mcadamsmortuary.com.
