Northwest portion of Downtown Jasper project nearing final phase

Ongoing work of the Downtown Jasper Infrastructure and Revitalization project has benefitted from drier weather this week, allowing contractors to complete installation of storm sewers in the northwest quadrant. Current efforts center on the installation of sidewalks and curbing, along with grading for new parking pavers and road asphalt. Preparations have been made for a new community fire pit and swings are expected to be delivered soon. If crews remain available, work on the north all of the southwest quadrant will begin next week.
