JASPER — With 12 new COVID-19 cases reported over the past seven days, Dubois County’s rolling seven-day positivity rate is at 3.3% among all tests reported to the Indiana State Department of Health.
In the agency’s weekly update of community spread metrics, all but five counties in Indiana are at the mild community spread rate.
Only Perry, Newton, Starke, Fulton and Tipton counties remain at mild to moderate community spread levels, according to the state.
As of Wednesday, some 12,848 cases including 161 deaths have been reported among 122,820 tests reported to ISDH from Dubois County over the course of the two-year pandemic.
In the area, Knox County reports 10,727 cases including 149 deaths among 112,742 tests with a seven-day positivity rate of 1.9%; Daviess County 7,465 cases including 148 deaths among 81,055 tests and a 2.3% positivity rate; Martin County 2,162 cases including 24 deaths among 25,120 tests and a 1.9% positivity rate; Orange County 5,025 cases including 90 deaths among 53,385 tests and a 1.9% positivity rate; Crawford County 2,542 cases including 37 deaths among 29,410 tests and a 1.7% positivity rate; Perry County 4,650 cases including 62 deaths among 42,940 tests and an 8.7% positivity rate; Spencer County 5,214 cases including 58 deaths among 45,231 tests and a .9% positivity rate; Pike County 3,722 cases including 47 deaths among 37,725 tests and a 2.4% positivity rate; Warrick County 20,235 cases including 231 deaths among 160,053 tests and a 3.5% positivity rate; and Vanderburgh County 57,207 cases including 600 deaths among 559,058 tests and a 4.3% positivity rate.
